Chivitchiva Spa began in Sayulita with a mortar, a harvest calendar, and a conviction: bath products should slow you down, not just smell busy. Since 2014 our coastal atelier has blended hand-harvested Mexican botanicals — copal resin, damiana, wild vanilla, blue agave extracts, and nine other signature plant complexes — into small-batch bath rituals made the long way.

Every formula is macerated, blended, and bottled on-site, then shipped within 48 hours of pouring in refillable apothecary glass. Nothing sits in a warehouse losing its volatile oils; nothing arrives older than the week it was made.

We harvest with the seasons and the communities that hold this knowledge: copal from sustainably tapped groves, damiana and vanilla through small-farm partners, agave from growers who harvest the traditional way. The botanical lab keeps formulations minimal — every ingredient earns its place or leaves the recipe.
