礼先生译文:

的译文:

“听这番回,伊丽白只能罢了;是她并有改变的意见,她失望又怏怏乐地离了父亲。不过,去想些题来增她的烦,也不她的性。她自她已经到了自的责任,去为无避免的害担忧,或者是过分的虑去浇它们,是她的性。”

在王和两位先的译文,都分有几个文的词没有在们的译中表达来,如文中的“drease”“augment them”“no part of her disposition”等,有两个称结构“……not her disposition”和“……no part of her disposition”,也有在他的译文得到表。这样译来,文的那素雅细的风格要难免所丢失。这样难免不能不影到意思的略微变,伊莎白是种顺应然的性,她就想着那去做,不是“不到”。

王科先生的文:

孙致的译文:
